About the Author

Kevin W. McCarthy

After a 1987 devestating business "divorce" from a 50/50 partner in a commercial real estate development venture, Kevin launched his independent consulting practice out of necessity. Decades later consulting remains central to his vocation along with diversification into being an author, professional speaker, executive coach, trainer, facilitator and intellectual property licensor.


Kevin has mentored a friends and colleagues through their transition from a corporate job to becoming an independent consultant. Depth of experience blended with creativity, business accumen, and entreprenurial spark built on a spiritual foundation are the hallmarks of working with him.


In No Brain Picking, Kevin serves up a healthy portion of his life and business lessons earned through the School of Hard Knocks. in hopes that other consultants can better navigate their life and practices to satisfaction, success, and profitability.
