Purpose: Being On-Purpose
Each Member has a purpose and is called to a life of common good service at home, at work, and in society. Members know their 2-word purpose and are actively engaged in putting their purpose to work through strategies, structures, and system that are designed and built to give high and noble expression of their purpose with God and for themselves and others.
Vision: A vibrant community of collaborating independent consultants experiencing increasing satisfaction, success, and profitability thanks to their membership.
Missions: Increasing satisfaction, success, and profitability through:
• Connecting: Build meaningful relationships through the community platform, events, and other forms of engagement online and in person.
• Conversing: “Let’s Talk Shop” is shorthand for relationship building via various community educational events (CoLabs), technologies, and interactions.
• Commerce: Making and giving referrals, recommendations, and engagements.
Values: TALK SHOP
1. Thankfulness
Thankfulness sets one’s heart and mind in the right place with all things and people. Tough shifts events are inevitable. Instead of griping, go to gratitude and renewal.
2. Abundance
Opportunity abounds. A scarcity mindset charts a course for selfish behavior, relational skepticism, and diminishing returns. An abundance mindset sets a trajectory of stewardship, trusted relationships, and increasing returns. Collaboration out performs competition.
3. Learning
Learning is sunlight to personal, professional, and professional growth. Share generously, cultivate increase, and contribute to the common good or wellbeing of all.
4. Kindness
Exhibit kindness by being friendly, generous, and considerate of others and yourself. Mistakes are inevitable. Don’t beat others or yourself up in these times. Learn to laugh and practice the nobility of forgiveness and moving on. Kindness does not mean being a doormat. Kindness includes directness as in “Iron sharpening iron as one person sharpens another.” Ask, listen, and speak truth with respect.

5. Spirited
Express your enthusiasm, zeal, and commitment to what matters most to you. Engage in robust conversation. Also draw light, nourishment, and energy from members with deep appreciate that God has gifted them (and you) with unique gifts, talents, experiences, and perspectives.
6. Humility
An On-Purpose Proverb is, “Humility is knowing oneself relative to God.” As a consultant and subject matter expert arrogance becomes the enemy to effective client transformation.
7. On-Purpose
In all matters, choose to be on-purpose by giving high and noble expression to your God-gifted, clarified 2-word purpose in your life, relationships, profession, and practice.
8. Professionalism
A professional adheres to elevated and more robust standards of competency in their chosen field of expertise, business practices, and leadership conduct. Clients rely upon and value a profession for being conscientious and concise in guiding them to faster, more accurate, and higher performing ethical results.

The Consultant Collaborative is an emerging, esprit de corps, peer-to-peer community for independent consultants to gather and gain greater satisfaction, success, and profitability on their terms with an eye on a 10X or greater ROI.
